Job Description

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Project Scheduler to work onsite in New Albany, Ohio. This position offers great benefits including health insurance and paid time off. The schedule is Monday-Friday with minimal overtime as needed. This is a fully onsite role, requiring five days per week in the office, with occasional travel to a job site (approximately 5%). There is potential for long-term conversion for the right candidate. We are looking for someone with current or recent experience using Primavera P6 , ideally within utilities or construction project environments. Some flexibility on pay rate is available for the right candidate, based on experience. Position Overview The Project Scheduler will support Project Managers by coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring milestones are met. This role requires someone who can independently develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules for complex utility or construction projects. You will be responsible for building and maintaining detailed schedules using critical path methodology, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicating schedule updates and risks to stakeholders including project teams, contractors, suppliers, and leadership. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with multiple teams to keep projects on track. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 Define activities, durations, sequencing, and milestone logic Ensure all project scope and deliverables are properly reflected in schedules Lead schedule review meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders Identify schedule risks and recommend corrective actions (including "what-if" schedule scenarios) Track metrics, KPIs, and provide regular status reporting Perform schedule and cost integration (SPI/CPI tracking when applicable) Mentor junior schedulers as needed Support schedule baselining, progress updates, and reporting standards
Qualifications Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience Associate degree with 4+ years of experience Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience Degrees should be in a related field such as Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or Project Management.
Experience Required:
Scheduling experience in utilities or construction management Working knowledge of operations, planning, project management, or system maintenance Current or recent hands-on Primavera P6 experience Certifications such as PMP or related credentials are preferred but not required at this level. Additional Requirements Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced spreadsheet skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable performing occasional site walkdowns and light physical duties Ability to work overtime or call-out hours if required About Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) ITS is an international recruiting and staffing firm specializing in Engineering, Technical, and Professional roles.
