Division Academic and Student Affairs Opening Date 09/28/2026 Closing Date 10/18/2026 11:59 PM Eastern Job Description Summary The Venture Development and Operations Coordinator integrates venture support, partnership development, data analytics, and operational coordination to strengthen entrepreneurial outcomes and organizational effectiveness. The position manages venture and program data systems, tracks startup and participant performance, coordinates regional partners and mentors, and supports leadership through operational planning and strategic reporting. By connecting program engagement, venture growth metrics, and qualitative insights, the position helps ensure that entrepreneurship initiatives are measurable, responsive, and aligned with emerging economic and workforce opportunities. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Venture Development and Participant Support Data, Performance Measurement, and Reporting Program Operations and Regional Partnership Coordination
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Venture Development and Participant Support Coordinate participant intake, onboarding, needs assessment, referrals, and follow-up for entrepreneurs and program participants Track venture milestones, business formation, expansion, jobs created and retained, investment, revenue, and other required outcomes. Connect founders with mentors, technical assistance providers, university resources, industry contacts, and capital-readiness support. Maintain consistent communication with ventures and participants to identify barriers, document progress, and support retention. Assist with workshops, accelerators, bootcamps, pitch competitions, and other venture-development activities. Data, Performance Measurement, and Reportin Administer CRM, participant, venture, and program data systems; establish accurate and consistent dataentry practices. Collect, validate, analyze, and maintain quantitative and qualitative performance data across funded initiatives. Develop dashboards, routine reports, and leadership summaries that support grant compliance and datainformed decisions. Monitor deliverables, timelines, performance indicators, and documentation requirements; identify risks and needed corrective action. Coordinate records and supporting documentation for grant reports, audits, evaluations, and stakeholder requests. Program Operations and Regional Partnership Coordination Coordinate schedules, logistics, communications, materials, and follow-up for programs, meetings, workshops, and regional events. Maintain relationships and regular communication with regional partners, schools, employers, mentors, service providers, and community organizations. Support partnership agreements, scopes of work, vendor coordination, purchasing, travel, and other administrative processes. Provide technical and operational support for virtual and in-person programming, shared systems, and program tools. Document procedures, improve workffows, and perform related duties necessary to meet program and grant objectives. Minimum Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong project coordination, relationship management, written and verbal communication, data management, analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; maintain accurate and confidential records; work independently and collaboratively; and use CRM, database, spreadsheet, presentation, virtual meeting, and project-management tools. Beneficial experience includes entrepreneurship or small-business support, grant-funded programs, regional economic or workforce development, event coordination, and performance reporting. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, entrepreneurship, economic development, public administration, data analytics, information systems, communications, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience Valid drivers' license and SSU MVR approval
