Job Title:
Operations Specialist Job Description The Operations Specialist plays a vital role in supporting Distribution Operations by providing technical project support, reviewing distribution documentation for compliance, and assisting with the nonconformance process. This position also supports associate training, procedure updates, and continuous improvement initiatives within distribution operations. Responsibilities Support engineering and distribution-related projects. Initiate, review, and document nonconformances, including risk analysis and investigations. Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and AATB regulations. Update and maintain distribution forms, procedures, and documentation. Develop, update, and deliver training for distribution associates. Prepare reports and summaries to support distribution activities. Support internal and external audits, including planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up for assigned actions. Essential Skills At least 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably highly regulated. Ability to understand processing and release requirements. Strong attention to detail. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in engineering, science, or equivalent is preferred. Six Sigma certification. Experience in medical device, tissue processing, or biologics. Work Environment The role operates in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment. Work hours are for the 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, from 3 pm to 11:30 pm, with flexibility. Mandatory 1st shift training is required for at least 1 month before transitioning to the 2nd shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
