Experience 0 - 1 year Save Job LinkedIn Copy URL Email Facebook The Program and Operations Coordinator (POC) is a new position with NWLCT and will be the first and only employee. This person will play a critical role in establishing, documenting, and maintaining core administrative, outreach, and program functions within the organization. The POC will lead the development and execution of systems and procedures essential to providing an efficient, effective, and compliant organization. This role will be a key pillar of support for the Board of Directors. The position is 18 hrs/wk, remote with flexible work hours. The pay is $25-$28/hr paid monthly. After a 6 month probationary period, there is a possibility for an increase in hours and/or pay rate, and the possibility of benefits.
Core Responsibilities:
Support Board of Directors in making progress towards fulfilling our Mission and implementing our Strategic Plan, which was completed in 2026. Build and maintain the reputation and profile of the NWLCT in the community. Provide a consistent, timely, and reliable organizational presence to government agencies, other conservation organizations, and the general public. Increase frequency and quality of organizational contact with landowners, volunteers, donors, and other stakeholders. Improve public-facing communications, increase visibility of organization, and strengthen public understanding of NWLCT's conservation impact. Align administrative and operational policies with Land Trust Alliance Standards and Practices to prepare for future accreditation. Strengthen record-keeping and compliance systems to meet professional standards for long-term stewardship. Increase fundraising activity and donor participation to create diversified revenue streams that support long-term organizational stability.
