Accounting Operations Coordinator Stratum Central Office | Wilsonville, Oregon $23.00-$28.00 per hour

At Stratum, we're looking for an Accounting Operations Coordinator to support resident account audits and financial processes across our portfolio. You'll work closely with accounting, property management, and operations teams while gaining valuable experience in auditing, compliance, resident accounting, and property management operations. What You'll Do Audit Resident Accounts Review and audit move-out files for accuracy and compliance Verify charges, deposits, concessions, rent amounts, and supporting documentation Review resident ledgers and final account statements Ensure documentation meets company standards and regulatory requirements Investigate and Resolve Discrepancies Research account discrepancies and identify corrective actions Partner with property teams to resolve errors and obtain supporting documentation Track outstanding audit items through completion Support move-out revisions, stop payments, check reissues, and related account corrections Support Operational Excellence Assist with reconciliations and reporting processes Maintain organized and confidential records Track audit trends and recurring issues Help improve internal processes and workflows Collaborate Across Teams Work closely with property managers, regional managers, and accounting teams Communicate audit findings clearly and professionally Support training and education efforts related to resident account documentation and move-out processes Required Qualifications 1-2+ years of administrative, accounting, auditing, property management, or related experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Confidence working with data, documentation, and financial information Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience with Yardi or similar property management software Experience with account reconciliations, audits, or financial reviews Property management experience Familiarity with lease documentation, security deposits, or resident account processes Why This Role Matters Every move-out account tells a story.
