Maintenance Planner & Scheduler We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities across our agricultural operations. This position works closely with maintenance supervisors, technicians, and operations teams to ensure preventive maintenance, repairs, work orders, labor, parts, and equipment availability are properly coordinated . The ideal candidate has experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or a similar role and is comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment where priorities can change. What You'll Do Plan and schedule preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance activities . Review incoming work orders and help establish priorities based on operational needs. Develop daily and weekly maintenance schedules in coordination with supervisors and operations. Coordinate labor, parts, tools, equipment, and other resources needed to complete scheduled work. Ensure technicians have the necessary information and resources before work begins. Track open work orders and follow up on overdue or incomplete maintenance activities. Maintain accurate work order, equipment, and maintenance records in the CMMS . Help maintain and improve preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities. Coordinate planned equipment downtime with maintenance and operations teams. Monitor maintenance backlog and help identify work that needs to be prioritized or rescheduled. Assist with parts and material planning to reduce delays caused by unavailable supplies. Update work orders with schedules, status, labor, parts, and completion information as needed. Communicate schedule changes, priorities, and equipment availability to the appropriate teams. Help identify recurring maintenance issues and opportunities to improve equipment reliability. Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, schedules, and related documentation. Support continuous improvement of maintenance planning and scheduling processes. What We're Looking For Previous experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, or a related operational role . Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple work orders, priorities, and deadlines at the same time. Experience working with a CMMS or computerized work order system preferred. Understanding of preventive maintenance and general maintenance processes. Ability to coordinate effectively with mechanics, technicians, supervisors, and operations teams. Comfortable working in an environment where maintenance priorities may change based on equipment and production needs. Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills. Comfortable working with computers, spreadsheets, email, and maintenance software. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently while maintaining close communication with multiple departments.
