llc Bloomsburg, PA Job Details Part-time | Contract $13 - $20 an hour 4 days ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Office activity coordination Process improvement Attention to detail Office record organization Full Job Description Help Build a Growing Excavation Company From the Ground Up BuckHorn Ridge llc Bloomsburg, PA Part-Time (3-10 hours/week to start) $15-$20/hour Independent Contractor (1099) initially, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role BuckHorn Ridge llc is a growing excavation contractor serving Pennsylvania. We're looking for an exceptionally organized, proactive Operations & Office Coordinator who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and keeping a business running smoothly behind the scenes. This is not a position where you'll be handed a checklist every day. We're looking for someone who naturally sees what needs to be done and gets it done. If you're the type of person who loves creating order, learning new things, improving systems, and supporting a growing business, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Be Doing Your responsibilities will continue to grow as the company grows, but initially they'll include: Answering phones and communicating with customers Conducting preliminary phone interviews with job applicants Managing paperwork and keeping company records organized Coordinating permits and municipal paperwork Contacting 811 to schedule utility locates before excavation begins Assisting with job costing and project tracking Cold calling contractors, builders, municipalities, and other companies to help generate additional work Helping improve office systems and organization Supporting the owner with day-to-day administrative tasks Taking on additional responsibilities as your role grows Who We're Looking For This position is ideal for someone who: Is extremely organized and detail-oriented Is a true self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do Learns quickly and enjoys figuring things out independently Is dependable and follows through on commitments Communicates professionally over the phone and by email Is comfortable juggling multiple priorities Is confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Wants to grow with a company rather than simply fill a job Microsoft Office certification Preferred Qualifications While not required, we'd love to see: Experience in a general administrative or office role Degree or coursework in Business Administration Experience working with contractors, construction companies, or trades Bookkeeping or job costing experience CRM or project management software experience What You'll Receive Flexible part-time schedule to start (approximately 3-12 hours per week) Opportunity to grow into a full-time position with benefits Direct mentorship from the company owner The chance to help build office systems from the ground up Increasing responsibility as the business continues to grow A role where your ideas and initiative will genuinely make a difference Compensation $13-$20 per hour, depending on experience Independent contractor (1099) position initially Opportunity to transition into a full-time employee role as the company grows To Apply Please submit your resume along with a short paragraph answering these three questions: Why do you believe you're an exceptional organizer?
