Job Description

Position Description Reporting to the Manager of Academic Operations and Personnel, this position provides academic personnel oversight and operational support to the academic division of the university. With a primary focus on adjuncts and hiring procedures, this position supports the Provost and the Deans to assure academic success. Position Responsibilities Manage new hire procedures for adjuncts and faculty teaching assistants including monitoring academic standards and requirements, processing and maintaining official electronic files. Communicate with new hires and relevant departments throughout process. Update and maintain relevant information, including education credentials, in university systems. Coordinate with HR, Payroll and AP departments regarding documents for set up of new hires. Coordinate with CTLT regarding training requirements, including FERPA and Adjunct Orientation. Communicate information with new hires and associated departments. Monitor and record status of new adjunct hires and update systems accordingly, in coordination with the CTLT Brightspace team. Communicate with Dean's Offices and Program Directors regarding status. Maintain tracking spreadsheet for this purpose. Monitor and respond to EU Courses and Academic Operations email. Monitor and update contract confirmations in the university systems. Crosstrain with adjunct and FTA contracting processes. Oversee classroom supplies and issues, placing orders as needed, etc. Perform other related duties as assigned. Assist Provost Office as needed. Status :
Staff, Part-time, 20 hours/week, 12 months per year. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Experience in academic administration in higher education preferred. Ability to multi-task, with strong attention to detail and accuracy essential. Demonstrates problem-solving skills. Excellent written, oral communication and mathematic skills. Strong computer skills required; Excel, Google Sheets and Workday experience preferred. Must demonstrate initiative and strong work ethic. Proven team player with excellent customer service skills.
