Job Description
This part-time role supports MDI's control panel shop and warehouse operations by managing daily shipping and receiving tasks, maintaining accurate inventory, and creating simple social media content that showcases the high-quality work produced by the team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment where accuracy and professionalism matter. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming components, verify accuracy against MDI purchase orders, and stage materials for panel builds Prepare outgoing shipments, package control panels and parts securely, and coordinate pickups with carriers Maintain inventory counts, update stock levels, and assist with organizing shelves, bins, and storage areas Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and aligned with MDI's safety and workflow standards Capture photos or short videos of panel builds, shop activity, or completed projects Create simple social media posts that highlight MDI's craftsmanship, company culture, and project milestones Support general shop tasks as needed, including helping technicians with material prep or organization
