Job Description
Job Summary Operations Coordinator monitors daily activities in the inspection, purchasing, and shipping and receiving departments. Steps in to cover some responsibilities when ability and time constraints warrant due to coworker absence. Key Responsibilities Department Monitoring & Production Alignment Oversee daily workflows in inspection, purchasing, and shipping and receiving. Coordinate closely with the Shop Foreman to align department priorities. Maintain shipping schedule commitments through constant communication. Track progress to make sure work finishes on time. Spot bottlenecks or delays and fix them quickly. Keep communication smooth between all departments. Upload photos of parts/shipments into job folders. Aid departments on an as needed basis with an emphasis on the receiving inspection duties and quality documentation preparation to include with customer shipments. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working alongside manufacturing or production leadership preferred. Basic computer skills, including spreadsheet and ERP software. (Jobboss experience a plus) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Strong organization and communication skills.
