We invite you to join the Hexcel team at various manufacturing sites, sales offices, and R D centers around the globe. Become a part of the "strength within Hexcel is currently seeking a Expeditor or our Pottsville, PA USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Create, approve and release manufacturing orders to provide direct planning support for operations. Verify material meets required specifications. Recognize material issues, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions to optimize resources while providing timely feedback to production teams and the materials manager. Track open orders with supervisors & production leads to ensure completion to schedule and identify/expedite manufacturing shortages. Conduct cycle counts as scheduled, review inventory issues and communicate results to the materials manager. Gain proficiency in D365 and Apriso systems and perform other related duties as assigned. Operate in compliance with Hexcel policies, procedures, quality standards and the Code of Business Conduct. Performs other related duties as assigned. Works in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within the guidelines and boundaries established by the company and maintains constructive relationships with co-workers. Always operates in compliance with the Hexcel Pottsville Quality System and Quality Policy. Adhere to company and plant policies and Code of Conduct.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required. Previous planning/scheduling experience preferred. Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ERP/MRP experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment and able to work well cross functionally. Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills to minimize production delays. The ability to prioritize urgent needs and manage multiple requests. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively collect data, establish facts and clearly communicating finding to Supervisors and Managers. Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
