As a Specialist, Planning, you will play a key role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly by coordinating work releases, prioritizing replenishment needs, and supporting efficient picking operations. In this fast-paced environment, you'll help resolve order issues, maintain workflow, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time. What you'll do on a typical day: Plan and release work to initiate the picking operation

Build and prepare pick runs for both automated and manual picking operations

Prioritize replenishment needs to ensure product availability and keep the pick operation running smoothly

Monitor and clear holds in a timely manner to maintain workflow and meet fulfillment deadlines

Troubleshoot order exceptions and resolve issues preventing orders from being picked, including inventory discrepancies and system errors

Perform picking duties as needed to support the team and meet production goals

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards

Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members What you need to succeed at

GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need: 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners It'd be great if you also have: High school diploma or equivalent Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Background in safety, OSHA or EHS training This job requires the ability to: Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
