Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating storeroom operations, including the receiving of inventory and non-inventory goods, warehousing of inventory items, par level management, and distribution to departments.
Education, License & Certification:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Minimum of five years of hospital storeroom experience required Knowledge of supply chain and receiving practices required
Essential Functions:
Performs cycle counts and physical inventories. Communicates discrepancies and problems with physical inventory. Counts par level inventories, picks and replenishes stock levels according to reports. Maintains accurate information for par levels, requisitions, cycle counts, inventory, and bin locations. Performs inventory issues and adjustments in the Material Management Information System (MMIS). Verifies contents of delivered inventory and receives contents into MMIS. Ensures supplies are properly rotated and checked for expiration dates at all times. Coordinates the receiving and delivery functions on the receiving dock and courier staging locations. Maintains established policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance standards, and safety programs. Assists the department manager with input and completion of department APRs. Monitors departmental supplies and orders appropriately. Orders department supplies and coordinates equipment repairs for Supply & Distribution equipment. Monitors product recall software. Reboots vendor credentialing systems as requested by IT or Purchasing. Performs other duties as assigned.

Attends daily facility huddles, weekly team meetings, and other meetings as required. #
