Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Material Control Specialist (MCS) to join its organization on 2nd Shift

• 2:30pm
• 11pm & 3rd Shift 10pm
• 6:30am.

Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of material handling functions including but not limited to receiving, transporting, storing, and ensuring accurate inventory in the warehouse and other store locations within the plant Open containers using hand tools Counts, weighs, and samples materials Utilize computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and recording information Handle the loads and unloads of materials onto or from pallets, trays, multi-level racks, and machines by hand Loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand or with equipment Operate equipment inclusive of forklifts (electric or diesel powered), pickers, and pallet jacks (electric or manual) Follow all departmental material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements while putting safety as a top priority Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years relevant work experience Proficient forklift operator Experience in warehousing or manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and organization skills Basic math skills Willing to work in a team environment Ability to physically lift objects up to 40 lbs. independently Availability to work overtime as needed Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with Oracle based MRP system Ability to use Zebra handheld scan gun equipment Pay Information This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
