Job Description Summary We are seeking a Commercial Operations Specialist to support proposal development, commercial workflows, CRM data quality, and reporting within GE Vernova Consulting Services. In this role, you will help improve the speed, consistency, and quality of client-facing proposals and internal commercial processes by coordinating across teams, managing key workflow steps, and using technology and AI tools to streamline execution. Key Responsibilities Own and coordinate the end-to-end proposal process for NAM opportunities, from intake through final submission Partner with Sales, SMEs, and Delivery teams to define scope, validate feasibility, and develop RFQs, RFPs, quotations, and Statements of Work Coordinate proposal inputs including methodology, assumptions, pricing support, and required documentation Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and internal review cycles to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality submissions Maintain accurate opportunity, proposal, and project data in CRM and other applicable systems Ensure strong document control, version management, and audit-ready records across proposal repositories and workflow tools Track proposal activity, deadlines, approvals, and key status updates to improve visibility and execution discipline Maintain and enhance proposal templates, content libraries, boilerplate, and standard language Leverage AI and other tools to streamline proposal development and improve efficiency Support win/loss reviews and incorporate lessons learned into future submissions Enable adoption of proposal tools, standard processes, and best practices Support additional commercial, operational, and business priorities as needed Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Power Systems), Business, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in proposals, tendering, project coordination, or commercial operations Experience supporting RFQs, RFPs, Statements of Work, and pricing structures Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, concise business language Proficiency with
CRM, ERP
systems, and Microsoft Office tools Strong stakeholder management skills across Sales, Engineering, and Delivery teams Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset High ownership and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Effective collaborator in a matrixed, cross-functional organization Desired Characteristics Experience developing techno-commercial proposals for consulting organizations, particularly in the power sector Experience in energy, engineering, industrial, consulting, or technical services environments Process-oriented mindset; Lean or continuous improvement experience preferred Curiosity and a proactive approach to improving workflows and proposal quality Interest in exploring and applying AI tools to improve proposal quality, consistency, and turnaround time Additional Information GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. Relocation Assistance Provided:
No #LI-Remote - This is a remote position For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $79,100.00 and $131,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility:
