Job Summary The Part-Time Development Operations Database Coordinator is a valuable member of the Segerstrom Center for the Arts Development team. This position reports directly to the Prospect Researcher and supports operational functions that maintain compliant, measurable, and sustainable fundraising efforts, working daily within the Tessitura CRM database and project management tools. This role combines database hygiene, CRM data entry, portfolio management, prospect research, and operational support to foster data integrity, operational continuity and sustainability, allowing the team to collaborate efficiently, effectively, and make well-informed fundraising decisions. Job Duties Assessing daily gifts and plans activity reports to accurately match contributions to plans and upkeep data in critical plan fields, according to established SOPs Performing ongoing plans maintenance and quality assurance to optimize plans for Gift Officer usage and for reporting purposes Data entry and maintenance to support the documented transfer of institutional knowledge into appropriate Tessitura (CRM) fields to support reportable donor relationship continuity Executing merges, conversions to/from Household accounts, constituent record maintenance, ensuring accordance with consortium protocols and development team SOPs Collaborating effectively with Gift Officers as needed to obtain supporting documentation, and to confirm plans data accuracy, according to established SOPs Assisting in data entry and research qualification projects and tasks related to centralizing the donor pipeline, moves management and improved and recurring research efforts Assisting in drafting confidential prospect research profiles for individuals, foundations, corporations, and other funding sources to support fundraising strategies and portfolio management. Generate basic reports and lists for fundraising campaigns, events, portfolio management, donor mailings and listings as needed Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required. Familiarity with Tessitura database, or similar database structure is a major plus Familiarity with development operations, portfolio management, or a related administrative role a major plus Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and large datasets. High degree of logical and systematic thought processes Ability to recognize trends, patterns, and inconsistencies in data. Must be a self-motivated worker with great attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Discretion in handling sensitive information, upholding confidentiality and data integrity standards in all work. Ability to work independently and as a self-starter in a team-oriented environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and meet deadlines.
