The primary focus of this role is supporting the day-to-day operations of our investment business, with additional responsibilities supporting our Financial Planning team. This position provides broad exposure to investment management, financial planning, and client service while working alongside experienced wealth advisors and investment professionals. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial data and technology, and takes ownership of making sure things get done accurately and efficiently. What You'll Do Investment Operations Support the day-to-day administration and servicing of client investment accounts. Assist with new account openings, account transfers, account maintenance, deposits, distributions, and money movement. Prepare and process investment-related paperwork and client service requests. Coordinate with custodians, investment providers, advisors, and internal team members to resolve account-related issues. Support portfolio implementation, trading workflows, rebalancing, and investment changes. Monitor transfers, transactions, and outstanding requests through completion. Assist with required minimum distributions, Roth conversions, qualified charitable distributions, charitable gifting, and other investment-related transactions. Prepare portfolio information and investment reports for advisors and client meetings. Maintain accurate client and investment information across RWP's systems. Assist with investment reporting and ongoing portfolio management processes. Help identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of our investment operations. Financial Planning Assist with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive financial plans. Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information. Support retirement, cash-flow, tax, education, estate, insurance, and investment planning analyses. Model financial planning scenarios and assist advisors in evaluating potential strategies. Prepare financial planning materials for client meetings. Assist advisors with client meeting preparation and follow-up. Maintain accurate client information within financial planning and CRM systems. Help identify planning opportunities and outstanding client action items. Coordinate with advisors and team members to help implement financial planning recommendations. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree, preferably in financial planning, finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field. Previous financial services or wealth management experience is preferred, but we are open to strong entry-level candidates. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational and follow-through skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working with financial data, technology, and Microsoft Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential client information. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with a wealth management firm, registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planning firm. Familiarity with financial planning, CRM, portfolio management, custodial, trading, or investment reporting systems. Financial planning coursework through a CFP Board Registered Program. Progress toward or interest in earning the CFP® certification. FINRA registrations or other relevant financial services credentials.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$62,500-$90,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant industry credentials.
