Job Description

TDC Specialty Underwriters, Inc. (TDCSU) serves as the Excess & Surplus lines specialist within TDC Group, focused on providing specialty insurance capabilities and related services to the rapidly evolving healthcare industry. We design liability solutions for a variety of healthcare organizations and professionals, including hospitals, physicians, physician groups, medical and long-term care facilities, managed care organizations, and life sciences organizations. As part of TDC Group, our affiliated writing companies, TDC Specialty Insurance Company and TDC National Assurance Company, are rated A (Excellent) by AM Best Company. TDCSU is currently seeking Operations Administrative Coordinator to support the expansion of its professional liability business. This is a hybrid opportunity located in Unionville, CT.
Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of the Submissions Specialist Supervisor, the Operations Administrative Coordinator is expected to: Submission Registration
  • manage the submissions mailbox within established timeframes and utilize established guidelines and workflows for new business and renewals. Credentialing Fulfillment
  • manage the credentialing mailbox within established timeframes and utilize documented coverage and loss verification guidelines and workflows. Loss Runs Fulfillment
  • manage the loss runs mailbox within established timeframes and utilize established guidelines and workflows.
Support the renewal notice process within established timeframes maintaining compliance with documented state regulations. Process Notice of Cancellation and Nonrenewal requests from the Finance department and Underwriting community. Support the premium finance notice workflow, including communication with premium finance companies and brokers. Possesses strong working knowledge of TDCSU products and corresponding product appetites in order to respond to varying requests swiftly and accurately. Partners with underwriter(s) to assure broker experiences with TDCSU result in a high level of satisfaction TDCSU is also seeking candidates with a desire to contribute to a collaborative, motivated and professionally ambitious work environment.

Requirements:
Some specialty lines submissions/underwriting assistant experience is desired, but not required Proficiency with Excel, Word and demonstrated aptitude with Windows based operating systems
