Work in the office. Remote working is not an option. In this position you need to know Orange, LA and Riverside County Codes to prepare and submit permit applications for clients' construction projects. You navigate the application and permit process by investigating city planning department guidelines, submitting paperwork properly and on time, and keep clients apprised of their application status. Your duties involve tracking applications, following specific processes for both hard copy and electronic documents, and performing clerical and follow-up tasks as necessary. Must have
Qualifications:
Work experience with pools and landscape permitting Work experience in construction, architecture, engineering Experience with expediting permits Review drawings per customer's red lines, and/or field dimensions. Reviews blueprints, submissions and plans for completeness and compliance with basic code requirements. Understanding of engineering plans are required Ability to deal effectively with difficult people with firmness Answers and responds to phone calls and emails in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer service to clients and internally. Provide accurate and up to date information regarding permit process and permit activity in company google drive Great Clerical skills Be able to manage projects through completion Capable of working in a fast-paced environment You have prior experience with working with municipalities You have well-developed communication skills and can prioritize multiple tasks You are naturally very detailed oriented You have strong time management and organizational skills
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of work experience Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
