GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst Associate to join our team as part of our Strategic Acquisitions organization. This Procurement Analyst Associate will be responsible for collaborating with the team and our suppliers on expediting orders, tracking upcoming deliveries, identifying potential new suppliers, and identifying alternate parts opportunities.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Procurement Analyst Associate, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. Extract reports from the procurement system and identify upcoming deliveries Track upcoming deliveries with suppliers and identify orders that are at risk of being late Update the procurement system with any shipping updates provided by the suppliers Research potential new suppliers that could be considered for a new partnership Review high risk or long lead time parts and work with the program and supplier base to determine potential alternate parts for consideration Other administrative tasks that may be required by the manager
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your supply chain and logistics expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Procurement Analyst Associate must have:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
1+ years of related experience Technical skills: Comfortable and experience in using Excel for reporting and PIVOT creation Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance after hired US citizenship required Role requirements: Professional and Clear written/oral communication Ability to work independently and track work daily Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently. Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process
Location:
Hybrid work schedule in Sterling, VA working 3 days per week in the GDIT location

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.63 - $32.20. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
