Solar Appointment Setter — Door-to-Door The Solar Guy FL | Central Florida About the Opportunity The Solar Guy FL is looking for motivated, outgoing individuals to join our growing team as Solar Appointment Setters. As a setter, your primary responsibility is to speak with homeowners, identify genuine interest in solar and home-energy solutions, and schedule qualified consultations directly onto our Google Calendar for our closing team. You do not have to close the sale. Your job is to create the opportunity and get the appointment on the calendar. What You'll Do Go door-to-door in residential neighborhoods Introduce homeowners to solar and other home-energy solutions Have friendly conversations with homeowners Identify homeowners who are genuinely interested in exploring their options Schedule qualified appointments directly through Google Calendar Enter accurate homeowner and appointment information Properly hand off appointments to the closing team Maintain consistent daily activity Represent The Solar Guy FL professionally in the community How the Process Works 1. Knock Meet homeowners in residential neighborhoods. 2. Start the Conversation Introduce The Solar Guy FL and briefly explain what we're helping homeowners explore. 3. Qualify Interest Determine whether the homeowner is genuinely interested in learning more. 4. Schedule Book the homeowner directly onto our Google Calendar. 5. Handoff The appointment goes to one of our closers. 6. Close & Install The closing team handles the consultation and sale. 7. Get Paid Setter compensation is tied to appointments that ultimately result in an installed solar project, according to the applicable compensation plan. Compensation Performance-based earning opportunity. Setters are compensated based on the results generated from the appointments they set. Appointments must ultimately result in an installed project for compensation to be earned. The specific compensation structure, eligibility requirements, and payment timing will be explained during the hiring process and provided before employment or engagement begins. Quality matters. We are looking for legitimate homeowner appointments—not fake appointments, duplicate leads, spam, or appointments booked without genuine homeowner interest. Experience in door-to-door sales, solar, roofing, pest control, telecommunications, automotive, home improvement, real estate, fitness, or customer service is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
