The ideal candidate has experience in purchasing, fulfillment, and inventory control, along with a positive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment , can quickly shift priorities, and is comfortable working independently with minimal direction . Role Overview This position is responsible for managing inventory across multiple locations, making purchasing recommendations, and responding quickly to inventory-related issues. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt quickly as business needs evolve. This is a hybrid operational role , requiring approximately 2-3 days per week working in a warehouse environment to support inventory management and coordination activities. Key Responsibilities Generate reports to track inventory status by item Analyze sales trends and forecast supply needs Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order placement Manage inventory transfers between locations in collaboration with logistics teams and service providers Evaluate supplier performance and purchasing spend Monitor inventory usage trends on a monthly and yearly basis Maintain and update purchasing and supplier records Respond quickly to inventory issues and recommend solutions Support on-site warehouse operations and inventory processes (2-3 days/week) Take on additional responsibilities based on skills and business needs Required Skills Strong understanding of import logistics and customs processes Experience working with parcel carriers or brokerage operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree 3 years' experience with inventory and purchasing. Candidate Profile Able to work independently with limited direction Comfortable operating in a high-growth environment with shifting priorities Adaptable and able to quickly pivot as business needs change Willing and able to work regularly in a warehouse setting (2-3 days/week) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proactive communicator and collaborative team player High level of motivation, ownership, and accountability Results-driven with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
