Discover what it's like to be a part of the Fairbanks Morse Defense team here: https://www.fairbanksmorsedefense.com/careers Supply Chain Scheduler Walpole, MA As a Supply Chain Scheduler for Bird-Johnson, you'll play an integral role in the preparation, planning, issuing and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production. Key Accountabilities:
Managing incoming components and parts based on Bird-Johnson's master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirement Working closely with suppliers to confirm material demand, availability, and delivery dates to support the Naval team Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc. Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders Working within Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) system to ensure data integrity and compliance of supplier commitments
Basic Requirements:
2+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing, or a degree. Must be able to sit for long periods of time and feel comfortable working the manufacturing floor when necessary In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a
