Paseo Catering is looking for a reliable, energetic person to join our catering team and learn all sides of a full-service catering operation. This is not just a serving position. You'll help us prepare for events, load and set up, serve guests, execute events, break everything down and clean up afterward. You'll also spend time in the kitchen learning how to prep ingredients and prepare dishes from our catering menu. For the right person, our goal is to develop you into someone who can confidently help lead and eventually run catering events from start to finish. What You'll Do Help prepare, pack and organize food, equipment and supplies for catering events Load and unload vehicles before and after events Set up event spaces, including food stations, buffets, tables and service areas Provide friendly, professional guest service during events Help manage the flow and timing of events Assist with food service, replenishment and presentation Break down events and return equipment and supplies Wash dishes, clean equipment and help reset the catering kitchen after events Learn basic kitchen prep and food production Learn to prepare dishes from Paseo's catering menu Follow food-safety, sanitation and presentation standards Over time, take on greater responsibility for running events and coordinating the catering team on site What We're Looking For We're less concerned about having the perfect résumé and more interested in finding someone who is dependable, works hard and wants to learn.

You should be:

Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Friendly and professional with guests Willing to jump between serving, kitchen work, loading, cleaning and whatever else needs to get done Organized and attentive to details Able to work independently as you gain experience Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods Able to lift and carry approximately 40-50 lbs. Available for some evenings and weekends based on our event schedule Interested in learning both the hospitality and culinary sides of catering Restaurant, catering, event or kitchen experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Schedule This is a part-time, event-driven position. Hours will vary based on our catering calendar and may include daytime prep shifts, evenings and weekends. Compensation $18-$35/hour, depending on experience and level of responsibility. Employees who demonstrate the ability to independently manage and execute catering events will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility and higher compensation. About Paseo Catering Paseo Catering is the catering arm of Paseo, a Spanish-inspired restaurant in Greenville. We provide full-service catering for private parties, corporate events, celebrations and other gatherings throughout the Greenville area. We're a small team, which means everyone plays an important role. We're looking for someone who wants to learn, take ownership and help us build a great catering operation.
