Job Description

Liberty National Bank's Wealth Management Division located in downtown Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Trust Operations Assistant that is hard working, detail-oriented, and motivated. This position will report to the Trust Operations Manager. Duties & responsibilities include: Accomplishing daily functions of the Wealth Management Operations Department as assigned, including data input and daily balancing; clerical duties; preparing checks and handling internal and external funds transfers, receipts and distributions; posting various types of transactions and verifying the accuracy of same; account updates and maintenance; processing/mailing periodic account statements; reconciling general ledger accounts; assisting with year-end tax reporting requirements; maintaining account files; adhering to department policies and procedures; and miscellaneous duties as assigned. Assist the Trust Officers with administrative activities and projects as assigned. Trust Operations Assistant qualifications and skills include: Prior wealth management operations experience or minimum 2-year Associates Degree. Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting principles a plus but not required. Proficient with Word, Excel & Power Point. Very organized. Attention to detail, and protecting confidentiality, is a must. Flexible to changing needs. Ability to handle multiple tasks at once & spot various operational or administrative issues & resolve with the assistance of the Operations Manager. Possess the ability to perform both independently and as a team. Possess excellent oral & written communication skills.
