Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate data within the company's ERP system, coordinating administrative and operational activities, supporting shipping and receiving, and assisting with inventory and purchasing processes. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in a manufacturing setting while balancing multiple priorities. Responsibilities Enter, maintain, and update operational data in ERP systems (JDE preferred) and other business applications. Process purchase orders, invoices, work orders, and other operational documentation. Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory transactions, and logistics activities. Generate reports and monitor operational performance metrics using Excel and ERP systems. Schedule meetings, coordinate communications, and provide administrative support to operations leadership. Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation to support plant operations. Respond to customer, vendor, and employee inquiries via phone and email. Assist with inventory reconciliation and ensure data accuracy within company systems. Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree is a plus. Minimum of 1 year of ERP experience (JD Edwards/JDE strongly preferred). Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, purchasing, or warehouse operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to interview in person and begin work immediately if selected. Preferred Qualifications Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system. Previous experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or plant operations. Familiarity with inventory management, logistics, purchasing, and production documentation. Experience generating operational reports and tracking performance metrics.
