As an Operations Coordinator , you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. You will oversee maintenance scheduling, work order administration, inventory coordination, equipment status tracking, customer communication, and CMMS data integrity while serving as the primary liaison between operations and maintenance. You will support maintenance performance through effective planning, resource coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive equipment availability, PM compliance, backlog management, and maintenance process effectiveness.
Responsibilities What You'll Do:
✔️Own the maintenance planning process, including work order prioritization, schedule development, resource coordination, maintenance readiness, and alignment with operational demands. ✔️Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance activities, ensuring parts, equipment, labor, and outside resources are available and proactively addressing scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and operational impacts. ✔️Manage CMMS work orders from assignment through completion, ensuring accurate documentation of failure descriptions, repair actions, labor hours, parts used, root cause, closeout notes, and equipment history. ✔️Monitor maintenance performance and equipment status, including PM compliance, schedule adherence, backlog, repair cycle times, technician productivity, equipment availability, repeat failures, and assets awaiting inspection, parts, repair, or return to service. ✔️Serve as the primary liaison between Operations, Maintenance, vendors, and management, communicating repair status, estimated completion dates, equipment availability, parts delays, priorities, and operational impacts. ✔️Coordinate maintenance materials and inventory, including procurement of parts, supplies, tools, and outside services; reviews purchase requests and invoices; monitor inventory accuracy, deliveries, vendor performance, and shortages; and develop mitigation plans as needed. ✔️Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting, including equipment histories, warranty and cost information, maintenance schedules, performance metrics, and operational updates to support decision-making and continuous improvement. ✔️Support maintenance excellence and team development by promoting safety, compliance, accountability, and teamwork; identifying training needs; supporting technician development; standardizing maintenance processes and best practices; and coordinating after-hours or emergency maintenance activities as required. Qualifications About You (Qualifications & Experience) We are looking for dedicated individuals who bring expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic to our team.
Ideal candidates will have:
✅ High school diploma or GED required. ✅ Minimum ten (10) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ✅ A valid Class A driver's license is required. ✅ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. ✅ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, eMaint or equivalent CMMS, or other as required.   • Friday 8-5 pm (flexibility required) ⏳Overtime as needed ⏳Available on nights & weekends for emergency support ⏳Hours may vary based on operational needs
