That's not a problem we're trying to manage. It's an opportunity we're handing to the right person. Most appointment setting jobs cap your ceiling on day one. This one doesn't. You'll start by learning the product and getting comfortable in the field, but the path forward is built in from the start: Setter to Setter/Closer to Team Lead. As you grow, your income and your responsibility grow with you. We're not offering a temporary gig. We're offering the first stage of a sales career with real, uncapped upside. About the Role As an Appointment Setter, you'll be the front line of our sales process, introducing DFW homeowners to Trimlight's permanent lighting systems and setting the stage for our closers to bring the deal home. You'll work in some of the area's most desirable residential neighborhoods, representing an authorized Trimlight dealer with a six-year track record of steady growth. What You'll Do Approach homeowners in targeted neighborhoods and start conversations about permanent outdoor lighting Book qualified appointments for our closing team Follow up and stay organized to make sure your booked appointments are kept, not just scheduled Build product knowledge and sales skill that prepares you to move into closing What We Provide Full training on the product, the market, and the sales process, no prior experience required A clear, structured path from Appointment Setter to Setter/Closer to Team Lead Backing from an established, six-year-old company and authorized Trimlight dealer A product that's easy to demonstrate and easy for homeowners to say yes to A team environment built around growth, not just headcount Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is comfortable starting conversations with strangers and can handle rejection without taking it personally. You should be self-motivated and consistent without needing someone standing over your shoulder, honest and reliable, someone who shows up and follows through. Most importantly, you should be hungry to build a career, not just collect a paycheck. Prior door-to-door or sales experience is a plus, but it isn't required. We will train the right person. Candidates must pass a background check, maintain a clean and professional appearance, have excellent oral communication skills, have reliable transportation, and conduct themselves professionally at all times. Compensation & Growth This role pays per kept appointment, not just booked, so your effort translates directly into income. On top of that, you earn a back-end bonus on every job that closes from an appointment you originated, even if someone else closes it. $25 to $50 flat fee per kept appointment, plus 2 to 3% of closed job value on the back end. For example, a $5,000 lead can put $160 in your pocket: a $35 kept appointment fee plus a $125 back-end bonus. If you're ready to stop trading time for a flat paycheck and start building something with real ceiling, we want to talk to you.
