The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure customer demands and production deadlines are met efficiently. This role coordinates the allocation of materials, equipment, and labor resources while maintaining schedule accuracy and integrity. The Master Scheduler also provides leadership oversight for Shipping and Receiving operations to ensure accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and timely order fulfillment. Serving as a key liaison between customer service, purchasing, engineering, production, and logistics teams, this role supports overall operational performance and on-time delivery across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced plastic injection molding and manufacturing environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze production data, customer orders, inventory levels, and scheduling requirements to develop and maintain effective production schedules that support operational efficiency, customer demand, and on-time delivery performance. Monitor production priorities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing customer demands and operational requirements. Coordinate engineered resins and related raw materials to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements. Plan and coordinate production activities across plastic injection molding, assembly, book-and-turn, and made-to-order operations while managing order sequencing, production capacity, staffing support, and bottleneck scheduling. Develop and execute complex multi-mold production sequencing and scheduling plans to optimize manufacturing efficiency and machine utilization. Coordinate with Tool Room and Quality Management teams to support mold repair schedules, tooling maintenance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives Determine raw material requirements for purchased and manufactured components, monitor inventory levels for discrepancies, and coordinate with purchasing to ensure material availability and timely deliveries. Maintain accurate production schedules and ERP system data, including work center demand, job timelines, manufacturing dates, production efficiencies, item tracking, and material shortage visibility using Syteline ERP software. Collaborate with customer service, sales, shipping, purchasing, engineering, Team Leads, and operations personnel to communicate schedule updates, expedite requests, shipment priorities, setup requirements, and customer delivery commitments in a timely manner. Monitor adherence to customer ship-date requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy, production flow, inventory management, and customer service performance. Maintain ERP data integrity through routine audits, variance analysis, and troubleshooting of planning discrepancies, including identifying and reporting BOM and routing inaccuracies for correction. Collaborate with purchasing, production, and operations teams to ensure material availability, scheduling accuracy, and overall operational efficiency. Support inventory control and safety stock management by identifying shortages, reporting inventory concerns to management, and ensuring compliance with company purchasing and inventory procedures. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3-5 years of production scheduling or planning experience with demonstrated success managing master production schedules. Previous experience in plastic injection molding and production scheduling required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Experience with ERP systems required; Syteline ERP experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
AUTHORITIES
Prioritize customer orders and production requirements to ensure proper sequencing and on-time delivery performance. Adjust and direct changes to production schedules in response to customer requests, operational demands, or changing business conditions. Modify production schedules as needed to address machine downtime, tooling changeovers, labor availability, material shortages, and other production constraints.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS APICS
Certification preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any direct reports or supervisory responsibility.
FLSA CLASSIFICATION/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a salary exempt position and is not eligible for overtime. A minimum of forty (40) hours a week is required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position does not have any travel requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role is primarily sedentary and performed in an office environment with extensive computer use. Regular communications via e-mail and phone is required. SAFETY Safety glasses, hearing protection and other PPE may be required in production areas.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment. The position may occasionally require exposure to the production areas.
REASONING ABILITY
Strong judgment and independent decision-making skills are required. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
