ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and schedule preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance across the facility, working toward 100% planned maintenance while accommodating emergency work. Develop complete job plans with work scope, estimated labor hours, required parts and materials, tools, safety requirements and equipment access needs before scheduling work. Build and maintain daily, weekly and shutdown maintenance schedules in coordination with operations and maintenance leadership. Develop crew schedules and proposed job assignments based on estimated job hours, available labor hours, employee skills, priorities and production windows; coordinate these plans with the Maintenance Supervisor, who manages the crews in the field. Coordinate maintenance activities across departments and work groups to support safe, efficient execution and minimize production disruption. Arrange on-site vendors for planned down days, including cranes and supplemental maintenance support; coordinate timing, site access and work scope. Coordinate equipment repairs with vendors, including scheduling service, providing equipment and failure information, and tracking completion. Own the maintenance

CMMS:

maintain accurate asset and work order records, manage the work order process and backlog, and serve as the primary resource for users who need assistance. Review work requests with department managers, prioritize approved work and update work orders regularly to reflect status and schedule changes. Coordinate job kitting and staging of parts with the Warehouse Coordinator so planned work is ready before the assigned date. Capture actual labor hours, repair details and follow-up needs after execution to improve future job plans and schedules.

EXPERIENCE 5

years' experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, and/or mine processing. 2 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Plant start-up experience, preferred. Must possess good people skills and be capable of developing and maintaining positive relationships with managers, employees and customers. Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with strong planning skills. Proven track record for creating employee ownership of safety, production and quality, leads by example. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and oral. Proficient computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Ability to develop, maintain and improve long-term maintenance plans and schedules. Demonstrated commitment and ability to work in a team environment. Ability to make timely, critical decisions, often under conditions of uncertainty and stress. Conveys information clearly and effectively through formal and informal communication. Extensive heavy mobile equipment operating and maintenance knowledge.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

All duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry, and dusty. Safety-sensitivity position. Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, stoop, squat, tolerate prolonged. standing/walking, balance, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects.
