Job Description
Construction Scheduler Data Center / Mission CriticalPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler to develop, maintain and communicate integrated construction schedules for mission-critical and hyperscale data center projects. The Scheduler will collaborate with project managers, construction teams, vendors and owners to ensure timelines are realistic, risks are identified and milestones are met. This role requires strong experience with Primavera P6, schedule analysis, and a solid understanding of construction sequencing for mission-critical systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, update and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 for single-site and multi-site hyperscale data center projects.
Work with project managers, design teams, subcontractors and owners to gather inputs and translate them into detailed, logic-driven schedules and baseline plans.
Perform schedule risk assessments, critical path analysis and recovery planning; identify and communicate impacts of scope changes, delays and resource constraints.
Prepare and present monthly/weekly schedule reports, earned value metrics and schedule narratives for stakeholders and executive leadership.
Coordinate lookahead schedules and short-interval planning with construction teams to align daily and weekly execution activities.
Manage schedule baselines, change control processes and maintain schedule documentation and audit trails.
Integrate vendor, equipment delivery and long-lead procurement timelines into the master schedule and track milestones for mission-critical systems (power, cooling, network).Support claims analysis and dispute resolution by providing schedule fragments, time-impact analyses and schedule forensic reviews.
Train project staff and subcontractors on schedule best practices, Primavera P6 standards and consistent coding/filters for reporting.
Continuously improve scheduling templates, standards and processes to increase predictability and schedule accuracy across programs.
Qualifications5+ years of scheduling experience on construction projects, with a minimum of 3 years working on data center, mission-critical or hyperscale builds.
Proven proficiency with Primavera P6 (scheduling, resource leveling, baseline management) experience creating and maintaining large, multi-project schedules.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, long-lead procurement, commissioning and startup activities for mission-critical systems (electrical, mechanical, UPS, generators, HVAC).Demonstrated experience with schedule risk analysis techniques (time-impact analysis, Monte Carlo preferred) and critical path management.
Experience preparing schedule and progress reports for owners and executive stakeholders; familiarity with earned value and progress measurement practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills; able to present complex schedule information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Certifications such as PMI-SP, PSP, or Primavera P6 certification are a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and support onsite construction teams when required.
