We specialize in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), cybersecurity engineering, managed security services, and CMMC readiness for organizations handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Our mission is to help customers securely enable and accelerate their operations through practical compliance, technical expertise, and mission-focused security solutions. About the Role ISSE Services is seeking a Junior Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join our team in Clearfield, UT. This role offers the opportunity to learn and build upon security best practices, security tool administration and maintenance, and other essential security skills. Growth opportunities are available for candidates who demonstrate initiative, analytical prowess, and critical thinking skills. Must have previous help desk support or other practical hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, or Network equipment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for users via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system. Provide first-level technical troubleshooting support for hardware, software, and network issues using steps outlined by senior technicians. Log, track, and manage all requests and incidents using available IT service management (ITSM) tools. Perform password resets, account unlocks, and user access support. Take detailed notes on troubleshooting steps, findings, and outcomes to assist other help desk technicians and systems administrators. Escalate unresolved or complex issues to mid-level administrators according to established support procedures. Conduct basic system maintenance and security tasks as instructed by system administrators and approved by the configuration control board. Coordinate with the SOC to ensure completion and closure of tasks assigned to the NOC. Provide continuous support for the NOC in a 24x7x365 environment as scheduled by the Operations Center manager.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
1-2 years in a NOC, Helpdesk, or computer technician role. Or equivalent schooling.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication skills, and team leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate must have CompTIA Security+ .
