ABOUT US
Papilion Integrated Recovery Center (PIRC) provides affordable, evidence-based outpatient substance use disorder treatment, one-on-one recovery coaching, and a continuum of sober recovery residences in Salt Lake and Utah Counties. Our houses are where clients practice recovery every day, and keeping them safe, stocked, and well-run is essential to the care we provide.
THE ROLE
The Housing & Operations Coordinator is the Director of Operations' right hand for everything housing. You will oversee our House Managers, keep every residence supplied and inspection-ready, own the medication ordering and count process, and take on operational projects as assigned. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable holding others to a standard. Expect to be in the houses, at the clinic, and in the store—not behind a desk all day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Housing & House Manager oversight
- Supervise and support House Managers across all Papilion residences: hold weekly check-ins, set expectations, coach performance, and cover gaps in the schedule and on-call rotation.
- Walk each house on a regular schedule to confirm safety, cleanliness, occupancy, chore completion, and compliance with house rules and licensing standards.
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, room assignments, and bed availability with case management and admissions.
- Review incident reports, rule violations, and house meeting notes; escalate resident and staff concerns to the Director of Operations and clinical team.
- Manage maintenance and vendor needs for the houses, from submitting work orders to confirming the repair is done. Medications
- Track client medication needs and ensure refills and new orders are requested from prescribers and pharmacies before supplies run out.
- Ensure medications are handled at the clinic exactly per Papilion policy, including observed self-administration, storage, and logging.
- Perform and reconcile medication counts on schedule, keep count sheets accurate and current, and report any discrepancy immediately. Shopping & supplies
- Do the household, and cleaning-supply shopping for every house on a set weekly schedule, within the approved budget.
- Maintain house inventories and a standing shopping list; deliver and put away supplies at each residence.
- Reconcile receipts and submit purchase records to the Director of Operations on time. Operations support
- Review drug screen results and route them to the appropriate clinical staff and House Managers for follow-up.
- Help onboard and train new House Managers on house procedures, documentation, and expectations.
- Keep housing records, logs, and trackers accurate and up to date in Papilion's systems.
- Complete other projects and tasks assigned by the Director of Operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable Transportation
- Two or more years of experience in recovery housing, residential programs, behavioral health operations, property or facilities management, or a similar hands-on coordinating role.
- Experience leading, scheduling, or supervising other staff.
- Valid Utah driver's license, a reliable insured vehicle, and a clean driving record; this role drives between houses, the clinic, and stores.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented: you keep lists, follow up, and close the loop.
- Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and electronic records.
- Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds (housing supplies).
- Availability for 30-35 hours per week with flexibility for after-hours house issues.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification, or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to pass a background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior House Manager or residential supervisor experience in a recovery or treatment setting.
- Experience handling, counting, or logging medications in a clinical, residential, or pharmacy setting.
- Familiarity with sober living and recovery-residence standards and licensing requirements.
- If in personal recovery, two or more years of sustained recovery required.
