Job Description

Staffing Coordinator Position The staffing coordinator is responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing caring professionals including at the intermediate and residential care levels. The staffing coordinator may perform other activities in multiple administrative nursing areas. Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staffing Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, memory care facilities, hospice care, and home community care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with their daily activities and healthcare needs. Duties As a Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Scheduling CNA and Nurses. Monitoring hours and each employee template. Providing care for individuals with infectious diseases while adhering to aseptic techniques when the floor is short staffed. Assisting in training and educating CNAs Assisting in memory care programs for patients with cognitive impairments. Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with working with individuals who have disabilities or special needs is advantageous. Knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus. Experience in home care settings is beneficial for providing personalized patient support. Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain hygiene standards in patient care.
