Our public spaces host a growing calendar of events including weekly fitness classes, holiday activations, Friday food truck nights, farmer's markets, and much more. The Site Operations Associate is the person on the ground who makes those events run: setting up, staying through, and resetting the site so it's ready for what comes next. This is a hands-on, on-site role reporting to Utah City's Director of Site Operations, with day-to-day direction from the Site Operations lead. It's a good fit for someone who likes owning a space, working a plan, and seeing the results. What you'd do in this role: Event Setup and Teardown Execute the site operations section of each event run of show: cone parking stalls, stage tents, tables, and barricades, and confirm the event lawn or plaza is clean and ready. Verify power access, place cord covers, and confirm irrigation is off for the event window. Manage load-in and load-out for vendors and food trucks, keeping them to their assigned locations and times. Reset the site after each event and confirm porter/cleanup crews have completed their work before leaving. On-Site Event Coverage Serve as the site operations contact for internal and external parties Resolve site issues in real time — power, access, trash, parking, safety — and escalate what can't be solved on the spot. Walk the event footprint during the event to stay ahead of trash, trip hazards, and crowd flow. Grounds and Vendor Quality Control On non-event afternoons, walk the site and complete punch-list items assigned by the Site Operations lead. Check landscape, janitorial, and other vendor work against scope and report gaps. Assist with day-to-day site needs across the community as they come up. Documentation and Reporting Complete pre- and post-event checklists in our maintenance app (MaintainX or similar), with photos. Log damage, missed vendor work, or safety concerns the same day. Contribute to a running record of event setups so each recurring event gets faster and cleaner. What we're looking for: Reliable availability for weekday evenings and Saturdays. Able to lift 50 lb and work outdoors on your feet for a full shift, year-round.

Comfortable with basic setup work:

tents, cones, barricades, extension cords, hand tools. Clear, direct communicator who can work independently and hold vendors to a plan. Valid driver's license.
