About the
Role:
As a
CBRE MRO
Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining small buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, which focuses on providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs for equipment and systems. This role will be located at a large manufacturing facility in Chester, VA. Some overtime may be required.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate all maintenance work to properly maintain facilities and grounds. Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments. Ensure all permits and licenses are maintained and up to date. Plan, organize, and control the day-to-day operations of the department. Establish and communicate the level of quality and safety expected in the performance of maintenance tasks. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
