Scope:
Primary focus is to assist the Planner to perform scheduling duties as necessary. This includes preparation of schedules for all production equipment, preparing daily WIP reports, and working with production personnel to ensure orders are processed and completed on time. Support the Production Planning department and understanding the production process and plant procedures, all within the facility.
Essential Duties:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to quickly adapt to schedule changes required to meet customer demands Performs capacity studies, identifies bottlenecks, utilizes lean tools, and recommends solutions Writes, performs, analyzes, and reports on validations to support process standardization Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient with computer and information technology Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to adapt to custom software Manufacturing or relative experience
Physical Demand:
While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, communicate, usually through talking, hearing, writing and typing. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk, and move or lift up to 35 lbs. The employee regularly works in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with a moderate degree of noise. The employee is required to comply with all company policies, rules and directives, including safe work practices.
