Job Summary This role is the top progression level in the Generation Operation & Maintenance Specialist series. Performs difficult and complex work requiring strong skills and significant knowledge and experience within the functional area or specific discipline. Monitors maintenance or operational findings, system conditions, or practices to determine current and subsequent maintenance or operational needs. This level position evaluates and recommends maintenance or operational improvements/ changes. Keeps abreast of changing technologies, updates, and recalls on parts, equipment, or operational changes. Works independently applying advanced knowledge and experience to resolve complex issues. Prepares complex technical, mechanical, or operational reports as needed to identify concerns, and/or propose improvements to processes and procedures. Works independently and leads and/or provides guidance to functional teams or projects as needed. Prepares and presents technical documentation and resources for maintenance/operational reference. Prepares technical reports or operational procedures to document equipment modifications, procedures or practices. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
Generation Operations & Maintenance Specialist III:
5+ years of relevant experience and knowledge typically developed through a combination of job-related training and directly related work experience.
Generation Operations & Maintenance Specialist II:
2+ years of relevant experience and knowledge typically developed through a combination of job related training and directly related work experience. (A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications) Demonstrates expert knowledge of design and operation of systems, equipment and operations. Possesses advanced knowledge of industry codes, government regulations, company policies and practices. Possess advanced knowledge of business/financial and contractual matters. Possesses extensive knowledge and understanding of data driven performance technologies and tools, process, metrics and analytics to provide technical guidance and mentoring, to stations regarding Maintenance and Operational Management Processes, Standards, and Systems. Ability to solve complex problems and possesses a questioning attitude. Possess excellent organizational skills to maintain and prepare documentation, records, schematics, policies/ procedures, and identifying/monitoring reoccurring issues and trends to develop recommendations. Possesses excellent communications skills, skilled in communicating recommendations and issues to a variety of audiences. May be required to travel to plant sites on occasion, to evaluate or provide oversight. Education Requirements Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Generation Operations & Maintenance Specialist II:
$73200 -$95000 The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
