Our Company Suttell & Hammer, P.S. is a growing law firm representing major banks and financial institutions throughout the United States. Currently, we are looking for a great Office Assistant to support our high-volume workflow and serve as a key member of our mail and document processing operations. Compensation, Benefits & Other $20/hour with 90-day review Subsidized Gym Membership Medical and Dental (subsidized) Paid Time Off (4.61 hours/pay period worked) Paid Holidays (~6 annually) 401(k) with 6% Match Free Parking General Duties The primary focus of this role will be managing the Firm's outgoing mail operations and serving as the subject matter expert for our mail-processing equipment.
Primary responsibilities include:
Processing and coordinating outgoing mail. Performing daily mail drop-offs Monday through Friday to the local USPS bulk mail office Serving as the primary operator and subject matter expert for: postage machine, folding machine, and copy machine Ensuring the most cost-effective postage is adhered to each envelope, copy machines are loaded with paper correctly to prevent jamming, the folding machine is operated correctly Troubleshooting and escalating maintenance of mailroom equipment. Cross-training other employees who will serve as backup coverage for mail operations.
Additional responsibilities include:
Working in our Scanning Department to electronically store images of documents received and generated by the Firm. Database entry, document review, scanning, and filing. Incoming document processing and other administrative support tasks as assigned. No Required Experience or Education We will provide comprehensive on-the-job training to the right person.
