Dental Scheduler

MUST BE BILINGUAL PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY

Responsible for scheduling dental patients for regular and preventive dental appointments. Also manages and schedules dental six and twelve month recall appointments.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Schedules patients for their regular and preventive dental exam appointments 2. Provide appointments while adhering to established scheduling guidelines. 3. Monitor the regular and preventive schedule regularly to ensure it is completely full. 4. Identify and follow up with those patients overdue for exam 5. Accurately update patient's demographic information and verify insurance for each appointment scheduled. 6. Identify and appoint new patients for comprehensive oral exams a. Access patient lists as they are updated to reach out to new patients 7. Fill in for dental patient registration position as needed. 8. Create the clinic site schedule by assigning support staff for providers with supervision and final approval from the Dental Operations Manager 9. Open and block NextGen schedule templates to ensure optimal patient access. 10. Performance of administrative duties a. Answers phone calls b.
