The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, proactive, and comfortable working across all levels of an organization—from new team members to senior leadership. This role is best suited for someone who can operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and is willing to personally execute both strategic coordination and day-to-day logistical tasks. What You'll Do

Execute, organize, and streamline core operational processes across the research organization.

Coordinate lab and equipment logistics, including gear distribution and physical setup.

Support facility space allocation and planning to meet evolving team needs.

Coordinate and facilitate team events and activities, including hands-on physical setup when needed.

Maintain information-sharing platforms, documentation, trackers, and shared repositories.

Monitor day-to-day operations, identify potential issues early, and resolve or escalate them appropriately.

Develop lightweight tools, trackers, workflows, and documentation to address operational needs.

Provide light technical and operational support to help the team work efficiently.

Partner closely with researchers, engineers, legal, sourcing, workplace/facilities, and senior stakeholders.

Manage multiple priorities, including recurring responsibilities and unpredictable short-notice requests.

Identify opportunities to improve processes where established procedures may be incomplete or ambiguous.

What We're Looking For Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in operations, program coordination, project coordination, or a related field.

Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably with employees and stakeholders at all levels.

Strong written communication skills, including professional documentation, correspondence, and process materials.

Demonstrated experience with hands-on operational execution, including logistics, onboarding/offboarding, equipment coordination, events, or facility support.

Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Proactive problem-solving approach and comfort operating in ambiguous or evolving environments.

Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.

Willingness to perform physical, logistical, and repetitive operational tasks when required.

Ability to work fully onsite in Redmond, WA, 5 days per week, with morning availability. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a research, hardware, engineering, AR/VR, audio, or product-development environment.

Experience building lightweight operational tools, trackers, workflows, or documentation repositories.

Experience with onboarding/offboarding programs, lab operations, workplace operations, or equipment logistics.

Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar collaboration/project-management platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Operations, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
