This position is responsible for gathering accurate information and making scheduling arrangements as well as responding to questions regarding medical exams, Employee Job Task Analysis (EJTA) program assignments and scheduled appointments. Responsibilities Determined which workers are due for exams and which exams should be included in an appointment. Prioritizes examination and schedules workers based on examiner availability, examination content, and work location. Coordinates available appointment times for multiple service appointments to minimize worker's time away from work. Refines the schedule to meet daily and emergency needs of clients and patients. Operates the scheduling system and maintains system data according to established procedures. Interacts with Site personnel for day-to-day scheduling functions via phone and email. Enters scheduling system data to ensure accuracy and validity. Prepares various system reports according to established procedures. Develops, updates, reviews, and maintains scheduling procedures and desk instructions. Maintains and adheres to document control system to ensure uniform control documentation. May provide system training to scheduling system users. Assists the medical support services (MSS) manager or other occupational medical clinic management with preparation or analysis of scheduling data and reports upon request. Adheres to and fosters acceptable health and safety practices. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education/ Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Previous work experience in a medical setting as a receptionist or equivalent Excellent customer services skills. Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft office or equivalent programs.
