JOB SUMMARY
This position provides operations support to biological controls organization under the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract. Responsibilities typically include but are not limited to technical consultant on problems and issues concerning safe and efficient operations and maintenance of facilities, equipment and systems, provide support to the management team, Other Hanford contractors and Hanford field office. Essential job duties of this position include the following: Manage the (Work Control System) for biological controls including planning and scheduling work. Maintaining chemical inventory. Develop, validate and maintain work packages. Schedule and allocate resources for One Hanford Contractors to support mission needs. Serve as the building administrator for biological facilities. Initiate material requests for supplies, consumables, personal protective equipment and small equipment purchases. Provide technical guidance and information to all levels of HMIS and OHC customers, ensuring clear communication and effective support for a wide range of operational and business needs. Communicate with customers, management, on schedules, resources and training requirements. Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance programs including schedules and procedures to enhance equipment availability and reliability. Occasionally make formal presentations to management, OHC's and HFO. Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree and 5 years of experience
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two (2) years of experience in agriculture or logistics. Ability to multi-task and work concurrently on multiple program tasks. Excellent communication and writing skills required. Must be able to communicate technical information effectively to customers at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft office, Excel, & power point. Desired Qualifications
