Spokane WA - Scheduler An Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Scheduler or Program Coordinator in Washington State typically manages staff shift rotations, department calendars, and operational logistics for pre-hospital or educational medical services. Because dedicated "EMS Scheduler" titles are often embedded within broader EMS administrative, program management, or dispatch roles (such as at Pierce College District or local fire departments), the core job description components include the following:
Key Responsibilities Shift and Calendar Management:
Maintain 24/7 or rotational staff schedules, coordinate field crew calendars, and track leave requests or overtime coverage.
Administrative Coordination:
Support EMS program chairs, directors, or fire chiefs with operational workflows, meetings, and record-keeping.
Resource and Liaison Support:
Coordinate staff, rooms, and equipment allocation for training labs, clinical shifts, or emergency response readiness.
Compliance and Data Tracking:

Minimum Qualifications Education:
