Job Description

Job Summary

STS Engineering Solutions is hiring an Aviation Maintenance Training Coordinator for a remote position based in Mexico. This role supports a major US-based airline and plays an important part in maintenance training administration, compliance tracking, learning management system support, and employee training record management.

The Aviation Maintenance Training Coordinator will help maintain accurate training records, support LMS activity, coordinate maintenance training requirements, and ensure documentation is completed in accordance with company standards and operational requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional in Mexico with experience in training coordination, aviation maintenance administration, airline operations, or learning management systems.

Essential Responsibilities

Maintain and update aviation maintenance training records to ensure completed training is accurately documented

Audit training inputs and records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

Validate employee and partner information entered into the Learning Management System

Upload and maintain training materials, course content, and related documentation

Provide user support for LMS-related issues including account access and password assistance

Verify technician certification records and maintain compliance documentation

Follow established procedures while completing administrative and reporting tasks accurately and on schedule

Conduct routine audits to support airline maintenance training compliance initiatives

Maintain organized project documentation and employee training records

Coordinate maintenance training requirements across operational teams and departments

Support implementation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of training programs and learning initiatives

Assist the training department with additional assignments as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred

Experience with aviation maintenance databases such as TRAX, AMOS, or similar platforms preferred

Previous experience supporting a Part 121 airline environment or aviation maintenance organization preferred

Minimum one year of administrative, training coordination, or related experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of training administration and course management systems

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting US-based airline maintenance operations

Ability to maintain accurate training documentation and support compliance-driven processes

Ability to coordinate with internal teams, operational departments, and maintenance personnel

Equipment Used

Standard office equipment including computer, laptop, printer, and related office technology

Supervision

This position works under general supervision and performs routine work within established procedures while receiving direction on assignments and projects.
