Job Description

SUMMARY:
The People Operations Specialist performs administrative, and operations support to the production staff to increase the overall efficiency in daily operations. The position reports to the Human Resources Manager. POPS ensures shift compliance with all safety, food safety, quality, GMP, SQF and USDA regulatory requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following: Understands company culture around Core Values and demonstrates those values in interactions with members and leadership. Supports production team daily including staffing, scheduling, absenteeism tracking, contract member needs, and other day-to-day operational needs of the department. Records daily attendance and staffing changes using designated tracking tools (e.g., spreadsheets) and communicates updates to production leadership in a timely manner. Utilizes reporting (including on-premise reports) to verify members who are clocked in are present in their assigned work areas and aligned with scheduling; escalates discrepancies to leadership as needed. Engages with new members to support a positive onboarding experience, including assistance with benefits enrollment and general HR-related questions. Assists members with updating personal information within the HRIS system and provides general system support. Supports members with HRIS access by assisting in the creation of IT tickets for password resets and related system issues. Communicates with Talent Acquisition, leadership, and designated trainers to ensure successful onboarding of new members. Works closely with trainers to coordinate, develop, and provide oversight of training plans, including new member training, operator training, cross-training, and annual skills re-certification. Assists production leadership in planning and executing member engagement activities such as celebrations and recognition. Assists hiring managers with meeting staffing goals, including coordination of permanent members and agency members. Seeks methods and opportunities to improve the work environment and overall member experience within production. Collaborates with support teams and other departments to optimize production efficiency and member engagement. Assists with maintaining production floor readiness by stocking hand wash stations with necessary supplies, restocking PPE, and ensuring areas that contain PPE for members are clean and stocked. Pay Details:
