Job Description

Ampco Pumps is a fast-growing manufacturer of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps and mixing & blending equipment used in the food and dairy industries, desalination, and various chemical and industrial applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the ISO program and handling Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs) to ensure product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO standards, and the ability to efficiently process RMA requests while maintaining a high level of communication with customers and internal teams. This position is required onsite at our Glendale, WI location and is not eligible for relocation assistance or visa sponsorship. Duties/Responsibilities Maintain and support ISO certification programs (e.g., ISO 9001) for compliance. Coordinate internal/external audits and manage corrective actions and documentation. Oversee and process RMAs, ensuring efficient assessment and resolution of returns. Oversee annual calibration on all tools/equipment. Inspect incoming and in process material & reject and return unacceptable materials. Investigate root cause of returns and collaborate with teams for corrective actions. Ensure accurate RMA documentation and effective communication with customers. Analyze RMA trends and report on product quality and improvement opportunities. Identify and implement process improvements in ISO and RMA processes. Support continuous improvement through corrective actions and best practices. Other duties as assigned. Require Skills In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality standards. Experienced in managing RMA processes and working with customer service teams. Proficient in using calipers and micrometers for precise product measurement. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail & problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in quality control, quality assurance, or similar role.
