Weekly Pay Location:
Kenosha, WI What This Job Actually Is When third shift is running, somebody has to be the staffing presence in the building. That's you. Picture a Tuesday night in
Kenosha:
the shift is starting, two people didn't show, a new hire is standing at the door not sure where to check in, and a supervisor wants an answer about tomorrow's headcount. You're the person who handles all of it. You work the backup list, walk the new hire through their first night, get the supervisor what they need, and keep everything documented so day shift picks up exactly where you left off. When the floor is quiet, you shift to the recruiting side of the house: calling candidates back, moving people through the hiring process, keeping records current. This job runs on you showing up every night and keeping things in order without anyone looking over your shoulder, because most nights, no one is. If you're the kind of person who keeps your own system for tracking it all and actually likes that pace, this role was written for you. Who We Are Midway Staffing is one of the fastest-growing light industrial staffing firms in the country. We place people in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, production, and skilled trades roles, and we make hundreds of placements every week. Clients stay with us because we follow through, we don't quit when things get messy, and we win as a team. If those three things describe how you already work, you'll fit in here. What You'll Do Be the on-site staffing point of contact for associates and supervisors during overnight hours Handle no-shows and callouts in real time, working backup lists to keep the shift covered Check in new hires and make sure their first nights go smoothly Support the recruiting and hiring process: candidate calls, interview coordination, moving people through the pipeline Keep candidate records, timekeeping, and shift paperwork accurate and current Hand off cleanly to day shift with clear notes on what happened overnight Communicate directly and professionally with associates, supervisors, and the branch team Keep everything inside company policy, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements What We're Looking For Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, or a similar people-facing field Someone dependable enough to anchor an overnight operation on their own, night after night Comfortable picking up the phone with candidates and having direct conversations on the floor Able to juggle multiple things at once and keep your own system for tracking it all Eager to learn our systems and grow with the team; we promote from the overnight desk regularly Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment What You Get Career advancement inside a fast-growing company that promotes people who deliver Hands-on training from people who've run these overnight operations themselves Medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees Weekly pay Weekends off, every week Equal Opportunity Employer Midway Staffing is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
