Job Description

This position is responsible for creating the schedules for all of the machines and wrapping stations. The schedules will be based on customer orders and ship dates. The position will also be responsible for updating customer drawings and specifications. This includes updating the computer, the books at the work stations, and the patterns in the pattern racks. They will also be responsible for ordering the buns in order to complete the daily schedules.
Job Duties:
Enter customer orders into the computer. Enter parts into the nester. Order buns based on customer needs and history. Update part drawings as necessary. Verify Modern loads before they are shipped. Enter new customer parts into the database. Print labels. Update bun inventory daily. Assist in the glue department when necessary.
Qualifications:
Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills. Proficient in Word and Excel. Ability to learn the nester function. Must be able to read basic part drawings. The ability to read a tape measure. Above average math skills and reading skills. Must be able to work in a group setting. The ability to communicate with coworkers and supervisors. Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime based on business conditions. Ability to work and learn in a fast-pace environment. Physical Requirements The ability to sit or stand for 8-12 hours per day. Lifting 1-15 pounds occasionally. Bending, grasping, and fingering often. Must be able to work at screen for up to 12 hours per day. Climb stairs occasionally.
