We're seeking a Financial Wellness Coordinator to serve as Altra's primary financial educator, helping members, students, businesses, and community partners build confidence in their financial futures. In this role, you'll deliver engaging educational programs, coordinate outreach initiatives and events, and expand access to financial wellness resources throughout the communities we serve. Key Responsibilities Serve as a financial wellness educator by presenting in schools, community organizations, and other group settings. Deliver financial wellness programs through workshops, presentations, webinars, videos, and other educational formats. Develop and maintain financial education content, materials, and presentations. Build partnerships with schools, community organizations, and local businesses to expand financial education outreach. Represent Altra at community events, school programs, orientations, and financial wellness initiatives. Coordinate volunteers and support programs such as Junior Achievement and other youth-focused education efforts. Evaluate program effectiveness using participation, feedback, and performance metrics. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial wellness education for employees and business partners. Track and report on financial education activities, outreach efforts, and program outcomes. Research and submit applications for financial education and community impact awards. Support Altra Foundation financial wellness initiatives, fundraising efforts, and community engagement activities. Assist with employee onboarding and other department initiatives as needed. Qualifications Minimum one year of experience with financial wellness education and events. Associate's degree in Business, Communication, or Education required. Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered. Bilingual Spanish or Hmong skills are preferred to support financial education and outreach efforts within our communities. Skills & Abilities Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to build relationships with members, schools, businesses, and community partners. Excellent organization, project management, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Professional, approachable, and committed to exceptional service. Ability to travel and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. Availability This position is salaried, full-time, 40- hours per week, Monday through Friday. Typical hours are going to be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Will require flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed. Work Environment This position is located at Altra's Operations Center in Onalaska, WI and will have the capability to work in a hybrid capacity. Must possess the ability to travel locally and nationally, which may include nights and weekends. Pay & Benefits Competitive starting annual pay of $51,280+, based on previous experience. When bilingual in Spanish or Hmong, receive a $1.00 per hour pay premium after completing and passing a language exam.
